About the model
The 1:4 mechanical advantage reduces load on the outgoing trim line and makes precise power adjustment easier under high loads. The arrangement is aimed primarily at racing and riders who value fine control of kite power.
The system uses compact stainless-steel rings, KiteLab’s platform for the Clam Cleat, and rubber travel stops that cushion bar impacts. A densely braided Dyneema depower line is intended to reduce sand ingress into the braid. A safety line is included.
