We help select KiteLab equipment for training, competition and long-distance routes. Our recommendations draw on ILCA/Laser and Finn sailing and more than ten years of Far North snowkiting expeditions.
On water, snow and ice
The Sever team includes active sailors and expedition participants who improve their own equipment and contribute to the design of new models. We know how requirements change with regular training, sustained loads, low temperatures and operation far from the start point.
Sakhalin, Greenland, Vaygach, Taymyr
Extended routes in varied weather reveal details that a catalog cannot: where wear accumulates, which components require attention and how practical a system is to service in the field. We use that experience when comparing constructions and configuration options.
Working with coaches and teams
For sports schools, Olympic training centres and teams, we propose starting with the discipline, the objective of the current training phase, athlete level and coaching requirements. We then check component compatibility, adjustment options, operating conditions and maintenance. We follow the same structured process when helping a beginner assemble a first setup.
Only what the task requires
Sever is a KiteLab dealer. We explain the differences between models, sizes and trim systems and do not add components without a clear purpose. The result is equipment configured for the team’s actual conditions and training programme.
